*Durban*: The MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Siboniso Duma is continuously receiving briefings about the arrival of tourists in various parts of the province.
He revealed: “Tomorrow 16 December, our entity Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife will host the inaugural Midmar Family Day. This will take place at our own Midmar Dam and Nature Reserve. Having Ukhozi fm and Lotus fm as our partners and broadcasting from the venue from 09h00 until 15h00 has created excitement.”
Duma further explained: We took a decision to renovate our Charlets in anticipation of the influx of holidaymakers. Bookings and arrival of holidaymakers has exceeded our expectations”
He pointed out: “The feedback from our guests is encouraging. They are happy because the dam water is safe for swimming and is also zoned for powerboats and yatching. We want to create an unforgettable experience for our visitors in KZN.”
